Extra security benefits on offer with new TVL Protect+
TVL Security, the UK aftermarket vehicle security firm, has launched a new product range, bringing next-level crime-combating technology to customers across the UK.
Building on the success of the existing Protect range, the latest developments have resulted in a new advanced Protect+ offering, which brings more features, benefits and protection to customers to ensure they can go about their work with complete peace of mind.
Laura Moran, managing director, said: “Our existing portfolio is doing a fantastic job in keeping vans and tools secure nationwide, but we know that thieves are constantly trying new methods to illegally access private property.”
While benefiting from all the previous levels of security from the original Protect range, customers opting for Protect+ will enjoy greater levels of physical protection, including:
- A patented high-security dimple key designed to prevent authorised users from creating illegitimate copies
- ‘Floating’ anti-drill pins installed within the lock’s cylinder, designed to prevent thieves picking the lock
- Anti-drill plates to defend the locking mechanism from being attacked or manipulated from the vehicle’s exterior.
In addition, key replacements are also only available directly through TVL Security and will only be fulfilled once requests are validated using the Police National Computer (PNC) and the International Security Register (ISR). Legitimate owners are verified by cross-checking a unique code issued with each key – stored on the ISR – against the vehicle’s registration on the PNC, which can be used to flag whether a van is marked as stolen.
Buyers also enjoy an additional year’s worth of warranty with Protect+, with their purchase covered for two years rather than one.
