Toyota launches new Proace van range
Toyota has unveiled a new range of Proace vans for 2024. In addition to the Proace and Proace City vans, there will also be the Proace Max, Toyota’s first large commercial van. The roll-out begins with the diesel Proace medium-duty van. Customers have a choice of formats: a van in medium or long body lengths, a crew cab and a platform cab, serving as the basis for bespoke and specialist body types.
Engine options are a 1.5-litre producing 118PS and a 2.0-litre engine producing 142PS, both using a six-speed manual transmission. Sport models offer 174PS and an eight-gear automatic gearbox. Proace has a maximum load volume of 6.6cu m.
Proace prices start at £29,921 ex-VAT and rise to £38,721. It is available to order now with customer delivers expected from April/May.
Proace City also has the new Proace family frontal design and is available with a choice of two engines. The core powertrain is a 1.5-litre diesel, producing 101PS, with a six-speed transmission, while Sport models use a 129PS version of the same engine with either six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.
Two versions are available – medium or long body lengths – with respective load volumes of 3.8cu m and 4.4cu m and a one-tonne payload. Prices for the 2024 Proace City range start at £23,496 and rise to £27,217.
