New Volvo trucks improve efficiency for LondonEnergy
Delivered in partnership with Novuna Vehicle Solutions, the new vehicles aim to deliver greater efficiency and reliability in its operations.
LondonEnergy has worked with Novuna for the past seven years to build, fund and manage its fleet of 35 vehicles, servicing seven sites across London. The delivery of the tractor units marks the first phase of LondonEnergy’s fleet overhaul plan.
Each vehicle features a lower passenger door window to enhance visibility around the cab. The design on the trucks features visuals created by design agency Effusion, which illustrate the journey of waste transformation.
Each truck displays a three-panel design that depicts an items progression from non-recyclable waste to valuable energy. The large arrow symbolises the conversion process, reinforcing LondonEnergy’s commitment to sustainability.
Jim Kendall, managing director at LondonEnergy, said: “Novuna has been a key partner throughout our fleet replacement programme. Their in-depth analysis of our operations ensured that the new tractor units are perfectly suited to our fleet’s needs, improving efficiency and performance.”
