Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has started the year with success as the Crafter took home ‘Best Large Van’ at the inaugural Van Reviewer Awards. Recognised for its outstanding ride quality and premium driving experience, judges praised the Crafter’s market-leading suspension, steering and visibility.
George Barrow, editor at Van Reviewer, said: “The Crafter really stands out for the overall sense of quality it delivers. It’s exceptionally comfortable for a large van and is calm and composed whether you’re covering long motorway distances or loading it up to full weight for a hard day’s work. It’s a van that’s genuinely easy to live with day after day and continues to set the benchmark for ride comfort and refinement in the large van sector.”
Isuzu UK announced that the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Commercial has been named Best Work Pick-up at the awards.
Barrow, commented: “Built with real commercial intent by navigating last year’s double cab pick-up truck tax changes, it combines serious payload and towing capacity with even more practicality from a secure loadspace in place of the second row of seats.”
