Three offers are part of Northgate’s wider ‘Drive to Zero’ initiative and are available to new and existing customers taking an eligible electric van (eLCV) on hire through Northgate’s 12 months-plus product.

Customers can receive up to £1,300 off the supply and installation of a home charger, with the same discount available for workplace chargers.

There is also free one-to-one electric vehicle (EV) driver training, which is a half-day session designed to boost confidence and familiarity with electric vehicles, from charging processes to energy-efficient driving techniques.

Joshua Hooper, head of product and specialist sales at Northgate Vehicle Hire, said: “Going electric isn’t just about vehicles – it’s about having the right infrastructure, knowledge and support in place. Our EV offers are practical solutions that help businesses overcome the most common barriers to electrification.

“It forms a critical part of our overarching Drive to Zero initiative, allowing us to support customers at every stage of their net zero journey.”

The initiative is a long-term commitment that has been helping customers for the past three years on their road to net zero.

The new offers come after Northgate launched a new net zero consultancy to help fleets plan and implement their EV strategies for both vans and cars.

The Drive to Zero Consultancy is tailored to businesses operating 20 or more vehicles, with the cost of the service dependent on fleet size and specific requirements.
