Jan Kohlmeier, managing director of MAN Truck & Bus UK, said: “This is an exciting time for both the staff at the Stockton-on-Tees branch and the wider MAN Truck & Bus UK organisation. The new facility doubles the footprint of the existing Stockton site, offering customers a broader range of service solutions as well as increasing the workshop throughput, which translates to quicker and more efficient turnarounds for customers and vehicle service requirements.”
The new site houses seven service and repair bays, a service reception, parts counter, sales offices and customer areas. It also includes a dedicated electric vehicle service and repair bay, with technicians trained to MAN’s high-voltage EV standards.
Victoria Whitehouse, branch manager at MAN Truck & Bus Stockton, said: “Being just half a mile from our previous location, where we’ve been operating for 34 years, means that we’ve been able to retain all our existing staff and skill sets. The staff are the lifeblood of this industry and we’re lucky to have built a great team over the years.
“Their skill and enthusiasm for both the MAN brand and our customers’ businesses shines through at all times and is something that we are all immensely proud of.”
