Citroën and Peugeot make electric vans more viable with price alignment to diesel variants
Citroën and Peugeot have made their electric vans a more attractive proposition for Britain’s fleets by launching new funding offers that align the monthly cost of its electric vans with their diesel equivalents. Available across models including ë Berlingo Van, ë Dispatch, E-Partner and E-Expert, the new offers deliver price parity on monthly payments through a range of funding solutions, including conditional sale, finance lease and business contract hire via Stellantis Financial Services.
The scheme is designed to ensure that going electric is now a practical and financially viable choice, enabling businesses to transition without increasing their monthly outgoings.
Customers can now switch to electric vans with no increase in monthly payments.
The new initiatives mirror programmes run by sibling brands Fiat and Vauxhall last month.
Greg Taylor, Citroën UK managing director, said: “We understand that cost is the deciding factor for many when considering electric. By bringing electric vans in line with diesel on monthly price, we’re making electrification more accessible and realistic for SMEs. Combined with lower running costs, it means going electric now makes strong business sense.”
Examples include an ë-Berlingo van on business contract hire from £315 per month (ex-VAT and maintenance) plus initial rental of £1,890, provided by Leasys UK and complete with a free home charger. The offer is based on 10,000 miles per annum and vehicles must be ordered before 30 June 2026.
