The annual sale at Novuna’s Trowbridge head office site attracted buyers from across the country keen to snap up the 150 premium LCVs on offer. For the first time in the event’s nine-year history, every LCV listed came with a NAMA grading and representatives from NAMA were on hand to help buyers understand the scheme and how it can support their buying decisions.
Matthew Davock, director of Commercial Vehicles at Cox Automotive, said:
This was a terrific event and I’d like to thank the teams from Manheim and Novuna for all their hard work in ensuring the day ran like clockwork and was great fun, and of course our buyers for their support. The presence of the team from NAMA was also a great addition and feedback on the new LCV grading scheme was overwhelmingly positive.
By the close of proceedings, 94% of the lots had sold, with 98.6% of guide values achieved. Just under a fifth of those sold achieved over 100% of guide values. We also saw a repeat of last year’s dynamic, with 58% of the winning bids coming from a buyer in the room.
Manheim and Novuna each donated £25 to Shelter, for every vehicle sold and fundraising activities on the day saw attendees donate an additional £550. Shelter helps people in housing need by providing advice and assistance.
