The UK’s specialist in aftermarket vehicle protection, TVL Security, is expanding its load area range with the launch of new internal van security doors. The development adds a secure internal layer that significantly reduces the risk of tool and cargo loss.

Designed for installation on side and rear loading doors, the system comprises heavy-duty, door-shaped, double-lined, anti-cut panels fitted within the load area. Each panel is hand-fabricated to follow the exact profile of the door, allowing easy loading and unloading during daily use. Once closed and locked, the attack-tested structure forms a strong secondary barrier that remains effective even if the vehicle’s external doors are breached.

Luke Powell, commercial director of TVL Group, said: “Internal security has become a critical consideration as vehicle crime methods continue to advance. The Internal Van Security Doors are engineered to form an effective inner barrier, protecting valuable contents within the load area should thieves manage to bypass any external security systems.

“By designing each door specifically for each model, we can ensure a high level of attack resistance without compromising access, workflow or the professional appearance of the load area, providing a practical solution for working vans used every day.”

The panels are secured using two TVL Security hooklocks, delivering strong resistance to forced entry. Each hooklock introduces an independent secondary mortise lock, loom guards and deadlocks on the doors, providing increased protection against forced entry, drilling, peeling and other common attack techniques associated with tool theft.

Current compatibility includes the Ford Transit, Transit Custom, Vauxhall Vivaro, Vauxhall Combo and Citroën Dispatch. Additional vehicles are available on request.

The panels can be delivered flatpack, allowing customers to arrange fitting at their leisure, minimising downtime while offering greater flexibility for fleets and trades people.
