LCVT has been manufacturing its own low floor, space frame chassis conversion since 2018, engineered specifically for the commercial vehicle market. The chassis has a range of applications, including the LCVT Low Floor Traffic Management vehicle and Tool Hire variant. LCVT has, in addition, supplied chassis conversions for Luton box bodies and exhibition vehicles during the last 6 years with over four hundred vehicles on the road.
Steve Elwell, LCVT director, said: “I am proud of the engineering team at LCVT who have worked closely with Stellantis to achieve the approval status. LCVT is currently the only company that I’m aware of in the UK which manufactures its own chassis conversion which has been awarded Stellantis Approval and I am excited about the opportunities this will open up to us as a business as we move into 2025.”
