Nineteen Group and The EV Café launch inaugural 'National EV Week' to Celebrate and Accelerate UK Vehicle Electrification.
LONDON, October 24, 2025 – Nineteen Group, one of the UK’s fastest-growing trade exhibition organisers and The EV Cafe, the leading voice for zero-emission mobility and community engagement, today announced a major strategic partnership to launch National EV Week.
National EV Week will be the first comprehensive, week-long celebration dedicated not just to electric vehicles (EVs), but to the entire ecosystem that supports mass adoption.
This includes the crucial sectors of renewables, charging infrastructure, and telematics/software. Scheduled for 1-5 December, 2025, this annual event aims to unify the industry, accelerate dialogue, and showcase real-world solutions for the UK’s cleaner journey to net zero.
"This is a pivotal moment for our industry," said John Curtis, Marketing Director of The EV Cafe. "For years, The EV Cafe has been the friendly, jargon-free pit stop for anyone interested in electrification. Now, by partnering with the Nineteen Group - who possess immense expertise in building large, impactful communities and trade platforms - we are turning our important work into a full, nationwide celebration."
Driving Collaboration and Commercial Growth
The partnership leverages the strengths of both organisations: The EV Cafe’s deep industry knowledge, engaged community, and trusted, approachable content style, combined with the Nineteen Group’s proven track record of delivering major, high-quality, and commercially successful trade exhibitions across vital UK sectors.
Mike Costain, Managing Director at Lyrical Communications (part of Nineteen Group) commented on the strategic fit: "The EV sector is dynamic and complex. The combination of hardware (vehicles, charging) and software (energy, data, routing) requires a dedicated, unifying platform of scale. National EV Week perfectly complements our portfolio, and we are proud to collaborate with The EV Cafe team to deliver the focused celebration the market needs."
National EV Week will feature a mix of digital events from the partnership and physical events from the EV market, aiming to attract stakeholders from across fleet, logistics, energy, real estate, manufacturing, and local government. The focus will be on solving the practical challenges of transitioning to electric, including grid management, power availability, fleet planning, and renewable integration.
Call for Sponsors, Partners, and Supporters
The EV Cafe and Nineteen Group are now actively seeking Founding Sponsors, supporting partners, and industry associations who share the vision for National EV Week. This is a unique opportunity to secure high-visibility involvement in the inaugural year of what is set to become the definitive annual industry fixture.
We are inviting all potential sponsors and industry supporters to reach out now to discuss bespoke involvement packages and secure their place in this landmark event.
