Mitsubishi is set to return to the UK in 2026, launching the Outlander plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and the latest-generation Mitsubishi L200 Series 7 double-cab pick-up truck.

Mitsubishi’s L200 pick-up first arrived in the UK in the mid-1980s in single-cab Series 2 guise, with the following Series 3 being available for the first time as a double-cab model. The arrival of the Series 4, Series 5 and Series 6 models extended sales to more than 180,000 units.
The latest Series 7 is the most capable L200 ever, according to Mitsubishi. It is powered by an extensively re-engineered 2.4-litre two-stage bi-turbo diesel engine. Power and torque have both been increased over its predecessor.
The L200’s Super Select 4WD-II system offers a choice of two- and four-wheel drive, along with centre differential locked full-time four-wheel drive and low gear centre differential locked four-wheel drive, with the choice of seven Normal, ECO, Gravel, Snow, Mud, Sand and Rock driving modes.
