Harris MAXUS UK is forcing a fundamental rethink of how value is measured in the medium van sector, arguing that the conventional disparity between price and specification no longer reflects customer expectations.
Launching a new MAXUS DELIVER 7 acquisition proposition from £19,995 –and with finance deals equivalent to just £67 per week – the company says the era of paying significantly more for modern technology, premium specification and everyday practicality are over. Today, the DELIVER 7 fundamentally resets expectations of what a medium panel van should cost; and what customers should expect to receive for their money.
MAXUS DELIVER 7 sits squarely in the compact van segment going up against models including the Ford Transit Custom and the Vauxhall Vivaro. Despite its ultra-competitive price point, the DELIVER 7 is supplied with a high level of standard equipment more commonly associated with significantly higher-priced vehicles.
Standard specification includes air conditioning, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity and a generous 6.3m³ load volume. Importantly, every DELIVER 7 is also backed by a comprehensive five-year manufacturer's warranty, providing customers with additional peace-of-mind throughout ownership. Harris MAXUS UK is taking the DELIVER 7 to market with an innovative ‘Magnificent 7’ campaign.
The announcement comes as businesses across the UK continue to face rising operating costs, placing greater emphasis on total cost of ownership and extracting maximum value from every vehicle investment.
The DELIVER 7 also reflects Harris MAXUS UK’s wider strategy of offering customers genuine powertrain choice. Available in both Euro-6 and fully electric variants, DELIVER 7 enables operators to select the vehicle best suited to their business today while supporting future fleet electrification plans as operational requirements evolve.
Gary Brown, UK Sales Director at Harris MAXUS UK, said, “The economics of the light commercial vehicle market are changing. Businesses are scrutinising every pound they spend and rightly expect more for their investment than ever before.”
“We’ve answered the call. The DELIVER 7 changes expectations of what a medium van should offer at this price point. Customers shouldn’t have to sacrifice technology, comfort, practicality or aftersales support simply to achieve an affordable monthly payment. When specification, warranty, running costs and weekly affordability are taken into account, the DELIVER 7 presents an exceptionally compelling, unmissable, proposition. We believe it establishes a new value benchmark in the sector.”
