Fraikin arranges bespoke truck deal for Pass Logistics

Six tractor units have been supplied on a full-service five-year contract hire deal, while the remaining trucks arrive on a short-term rental agreement. Replacing a mixture of owned and leased vehicles, Fraikin created the bespoke arrangement to help Pass Logistics simplify its fleet-related expenses.

The deal features comprehensive servicing, repairs, licensing, regular safety inspections, annual MOT testing, tyre management, roadside assistance and 24/7, 365 customer support. The six rental trucks will also receive round-the-clock care, including preventative maintenance, repairs and replacement vehicle cover.

Fraikin’s maintenance portal, FRAIKinVIEW, will help the firm bolster safety and efficiency by providing an overview of all scheduled and unplanned work on the new assets.

The company’s MYSMARTFLEET connected technologies package is also included, which helps to improve performance with real-time data on metrics such as distance travelled, fuel efficiency and driver behaviour.
