Owner Jordan O’Leary, who started the company with the support of his father Brian two years ago, said: “As a new business, which prides itself on reliability, punctuality and safety, we need trucks that we know will do a great job for our customers – these new Volvos fit the bill perfectly.”
The pair of FHs are equipped with D13K, Euro-6, diesel engines producing 540hp and a peak torque of 2,600Nm. Power is delivered through Volvo’s automated 12-speed I-Shift gearbox, which makes driving easier, safer and more comfortable and can also deliver improved fuel economy through perfectly timed gear changes.
The eye-catching tractor units have been specified to stand out from the crowd, with Dura- Bright Alloys, factory side skirts, enhanced factory paint finish, bespoke customer sun-visors and Kelsa light bars.
Inside the Globetrotter cabs, the working environment is improved with full leather seats, touch-screen media pack, under-bunk fridge freezers and microwave ovens.
Both FHs have also been specified with Volvo Dynamic Steering, an ultra-responsive system designed to lessen driver steering force by up to 85%, helping increase road safety and reduce driver fatigue.
